 ENRICHMENT 

Extra curricular activities play an important role in the development of the individual at Newman Catholic College. Giving pupils the opportunity to not only experience the extensive range of activities and clubs offered by the College, but to develop their confidence, responsibility, leadership, communication skills and live out their God given gifts and talents.


Faculties organise a wide range of subject specific trips and visits to complement the work undertaken in the classroom. There is also a range of visits and opportunities to develop new skills both locally and in foreign lands.


There have been many outstanding drama productions, concerts and sporting achievements which are well supported by parents and the communities.


Recent extra-curricular activities have included Art, Athletics, Choir, Drama, Football, Hockey, Information Technology, Library, Literacy, Netball, School Magazine, Tennis and Theatre trips. There are also clubs and groups they can join such as Pupil Chaplain, Student Council and Debate Mate, all teaching them skills of teamwork, leadership and communication.


Homework Clubs are available at lunch times and on Wednesday afternoons and revision sessions for examinations take place during the holidays
