Satchel:One

Dear Parent/Carer,

In order to support students with their learning and progress outside lessons the College have subscribed to Satchel:One.

Satchel:One is an online platform which allows students and parents to access homework tasks, timetables, and rewards. All students have been given a log in to access Satchel:One where they will be able to see homework tasks which have been assigned along with due dates. This will support students to take ownership and plan their own learning outside the classroom.

KS3 students will be set one piece of homework per week to be set from core subjects, English, Maths and Science. One piece of homework per fortnight to be set from other KS3 subjects.

KS4 students will be set one piece of homework per week for all GCSE subjects. Dual award GCSE subjects, English and Science, will be set two pieces of homework per week.

You can support your child by helping them to plan their homework during the week and ensuring they complete homework tasks on time. You will receive in the post a copy of this letter and the details of how you can set up your own Satchel: One account which will enable you to monitor your child’s homework – both outstanding and submitted, as well as other information such as their behaviour record.
