Newman RC College is an inclusive 11-16 voluntary aided school located in Oldham, ten minutes from Manchester city centre and the breath-taking Pennines. The school is situated in a new building with state-of-the-art facilities and enjoys excellent transport links. We are oversubscribed, judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2020. We are looking for a talented and inspirational SENCO who has a passion for inclusion. This is an exciting time for our college with the opening of our new SEND Resource Base from September 2022. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils with their academic, personal and social development and work closely with all staff, parents and external partners to achieve the highest possible standards of provision for pupils with SEND. The successful candidate will lead the operational management of the SEND team, resources and accommodation and support the Assistant Headteacher Inclusion to shape the strategic leadership development of SEND provision.
