A Message from the headteacher

As Headteacher of Saint John Henry Newman Catholic College, I warmly welcome you to our website: the portal to learning a little more about our wonderful community. Our website acts as a window in to the work we carry out, but it can in no way capture the true extent of our mission. We are fiercely proud of our Catholic ethos and our values.

Our values are:

Love – the greatest of Commandments, to love one another as Jesus loves us.

Faith – in God, in humanity, in each other. Faith in our community and the talents we have.

Courage – to do the right thing, which can often be difficult. Having courage to live out our values in a world that challenges them.

Vocation – using our talents and interests to build a future where we all play a positive part.

Service – to give more than we take, to help those in need and to act in a way that demonstrates love to all

And Dignity – rooted in the fact that we are all created in the image of God.
