Newman College is delighted to celebrate with our students their fantastic achievements in this year's GCSE exams. The results are a testament to the courage and hard work of students, parents, carers and staff which was embodied throughout the exams, and living out our college values every day.

It is worth noting also, of course, that this year’s leavers joined Newman as new Year 7s in the very difficult circumstances of the pandemic years; a reason to take extra pride in every single one of our students’ accomplishments this year.
There are some wonderful individual results that we would also like to share. Pictured below, Kendra Onovo, who in an amazing achievement received an average of a Grade 8 in every subject to be the highest Newman student to exceed her target grades said, “I joined in Year 9 but felt massively supported throughout, especially in Maths which I struggled with. Thank you to all the staff”. Kendra now intends to study Biology, Chemistry and Physics at A-Level. Pictured above, Ben Entwistle achieved an amazing eight Grade 9s to be one of Newmans highest achieving students. Also pictured above, Best Aghagbon who also massively exceeded her targets achieved five Grade 8s and three Grade 9s and now intends to study Maths, Biology and Chemistry at Xaverian. Best kindly said, “I had a great time at Newman and would like to thank everyone during my time there”.

The happy, smiling faces this results day once again show the love and service fostered between proud teachers and students. As always, Newman will continue to strive for dignity and academic excellence for all as we begin in September our first full academic year under the leadership of our new Headteacher, Mrs Phillips.
Congratulations to the Newman Class of 2025. May we wish all our Newman leavers the very best for the future.
