GIFT Chaplain Training Day

Today the GIFT Chaplains had their training day, this was for both current and new Chaplains. The aim was to initiate them as a team so they can work together in developed faith, as well as reviewing our school mission statement, their understanding of mission as Chaplains and beginning their Faith in Action Awards.

We were lucky to be joined by the Just Youth team to support this day and ended the day in Mass celebrated by Father Fabias who blessed the Chaplains in their work.

The GIFT Chaplains shared their understanding of their very important work, with responses such as “to give back to our community”, “to showcase our personal faith”, “to live out Jesus’ message of love”, “to live our mission from God” and “to put our beliefs into everyday action”.

The GIFT Chaplains have lots of exciting ideas for our Chaplaincy life and cannot wait to begin sharing these with the wider community!
