A group of KS4 pupils were introduced to the chaotic world of the Capulets and Montagues in The Royal Exchange's production of Romeo and Juliet. It's a story that everyone knows but that we don't often get to experience on stage and with the setting being modernised to the streets of Manchester, it really helped us all to think about the tragic divisions that still plague our society today. It was an interesting depiction of how problems that plagued the world during Shakespeare's time are still very relevant today and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the performance.
