In the current economic climate, it is imperative that young people are able to make sense of a wide range of issues that will have a real impact on their lives. Business helps students to tackle these real world issues and make sense of them by providing invaluable opportunities to think, question and evaluate real world situations.
Many students express their aspiration to become entrepreneurs and our curriculum has been designed to help provide them with the spark and creativity to help them think outside the box.
The curriculum equips our students with practical and transferable skills which include report writing, presenting, debating and handling and understanding finances. It is a course which many of our students wish to pursue at a post 16 level and this curriculum provides them with a platform to prepare them for this.
“The plans of the diligent lead surely to profit, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty.”
Proverbs 21:5
